The new HM Ambassador to Greece, Ms Kate Smith CMG, accompanied by the First Secretary – policy delivery, Ms Heather Purdie, were hosted at a cheese and wine welcoming reception on Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at ‘To Parko’ restaurant, by the King’s College London Alumni Greece committee on behalf of all group members.
KCLAGr president, Mr. Epameinondas Stylopoulos together with vice presidents Mr. George Chloros and Mr. Dimitris Lemonakis, general secretary Mr. Kimon Tsakiris and treasurer Mr. Paris Vallides, discussed with her Excellency and the First Secretary various issues, as well as ways and future possible events that can not only strengthen the bond between the UK embassy in Greece and King’s alumni but also promote UK higher education among fellow Greek citizens.
