The Hellenic Alumni Association of King’s College London cut its pie on Friday, January 12, 2024 in Athens at the Kostis Palamas Cultural Center of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

The president of the Association, Epameinondas Stylopoulos, in his short greeting noted that the events of the Association are the best occasion for creating bonds based on the common principles and values of King’s College London graduates. The vice-president of the Association, Dimitris Lemonakis, after the wishes for the new year, shared with the participants the plan of the next actions and initiatives of the Association.

The event was graced by the presence of the British Ambassador to Greece, Mr. Matthew Lodge, who pointed out the importance of the alumni associations of British Universities for the bilateral relations between Greece and the United Kingdom, especially in the post-Brexit era, as there are thousands of Greek graduates of British Universities. .

The lucky winner of the evening left with the last book THE GREEKS: A Global History by Prof. Roderick Beaton who held the Koraes Chair of Modern Greek and Byzantine History, Language and Literature studies at King’s College London for 30 years and until 2018.
