The Greek Alumni Association of King’s College London cut its pie on Sunday, January 26, in the Athenian Club in downtown Athens in the presence of diplomats, journalists and scientists.
The president of the Association, Epaminondas Stylopoulos, said in a short greeting: “It is a great pleasure to share our views, concerns or the course of our professional and personal development with old classmates and friends. The events of the Association are a good reason for establishing links based on the common principles and values of the graduates”. The event was welcomed by UK Ambassador Kate Smith, who highlighted the effort to balance the impending brexit and the significant contribution of the UK education sector to the reality and economy of the United Kingdom.+
The event was also welcomed by the Minister of Education and Religions, who spoke extensively about the extroversion efforts of the Greek education system.
Finally, his wishes for the new year were shared by MP and member of the club, Konstantinos Bogdanos.
